Situated on ‘New Zealand’s most beautiful street’ New Regent Street, the only complete heritage streetscape remaining in Christchurch. Stage Door is inspired by the late 1920s / early 1930s, with the grand New Regent Street entrance designed after the old fashioned backdoor of a theatre. The store window also takes inspiration from a vintage theatre mirror where performers would get ready.

With top international brands, Capezio, Bloch, Wear Moi, Ballet Rosa, Só Dança, Vivaz, and Claudia Dean, Stage Door is a staple for any New Zealand performer. We provide high-quality dance equipment, such as ballet shoes, jazz shoes, dance accessories, merchandise and dancewear. We are New Zealand’s boutique dance store with our wide range of products available to try on and purchase in-store, and available to buy online.

Pointe Shoe fittings are a big part of this outworking. We take the time to properly assess each dancer’s specific needs for their pointe shoes. If you wish to have a fitting with us, please book your Pointe Shoe Fitting.
